Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Work directly with US clients to understand their sourcing needs and execute procurement projects.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with Vietnamese manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Analyze pricing, quality, and lead times to recommend the best sourcing options.
  • Lead the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including bid evaluation and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with international quality standards and regulations.
  • Support the contract signing process in both English and Vietnamese.

2. Procurement Consulting & Client Support

  • Leverage JKA’s expertise in global procurement to advise clients on cost-saving strategies and operational improvements.
  • Facilitate onsite workshops and training sessions for clients (occasional travel required).

3. Export Operations & Logistics Coordination

  • Oversee order fulfillment from manufacturing to shipment.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with logistics partners for EXW, FOB, CIF, DDU, and LCL shipments.
  • Maintain real-time communication between clients, suppliers, and logistics teams to meet delivery schedules.
  • Conduct quality checks and shipment evaluations to ensure products meet client expectations.

Skills:

  • Fluent in English (TOEFL 90+ or equivalent) – strong communication skills are essential for working with US clients.
  • Sharp analytical thinker – able to evaluate multiple suppliers, compare pricing, and find the best deals.
  • Excellent negotiation & communication skills – comfortable discussing contracts and pricing with manufacturers.
  • Detail-oriented & highly organized – able to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
  • A team player with a proactive attitude – willing to take initiative and solve problems independently.
  • Background in business, supply chain, international trade, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Experience in purchasing, sourcing, or procurement is an advantage but not required—we will train the right candidate.
